Oat Yeah - Delaware food and product photographyYeah, yeah , yeah what is the big deal right? Well there are a ton of things that go into even a simple shot of your product. You have spent time and money building your brand, you need to be able to see your packaging looking sharp, readable and to have the colors pop at the same show the food in an appetizing way. The trick is to use reflector cards and lots of film…well, exposures. A good picture isn’t so much taken as built in the studio under the lights and later in post production and digital retouching.
Donuts From Above by Pennsylvania Food Photographer Daniel Jackson Doughnuts, or donuts, or maybe doeghneuts, I can't be sure. All I know is that they made a wonderful subject for an overhead shot. Photographed in Delaware by www.DanielJacksonPhoto.com Sometimes the trick for a perfect shot is to simply buy a bunch and sort out the best for the shot. It can take searching through dozens of donuts or about a year of post production in photoshop. Luckily I am a skilled retoucher.
